Meet our new Mobility Consultant!

On 1. October, we welcomed our new Mobility Consultant Jane Frahm to the team at the International Staff Office. Jane is employed as maternity leave and will be working with relocation processes and rules on social security.

Jane is originally from Germany but has studied and worked in Denmark for more than 10 years and has also lived in Spain, Chile and the US.

“I have several times been through the jungle of getting registered and settled in various countries. I have not always been so lucky to receive help during that process and I know that I usually had 100 different questions, so I am very much looking forward to helping the international staff of Aarhus University and their families to get settled and to answer all their potential questions.”

Jane holds an MA in English and Spanish from AU. After finishing her education, Jane volunteered as English teacher in Columbus, Ohio and worked in educational administration in Nuremberg, Germany, before she moved back to Aarhus with her husband and two kids in 2019.

“As my husband is an international VIP at Aarhus University, we were offered help by ISO as we were relocating to Denmark. This was especially precious, as we received daycare spots for our kids immediately after arrival and, being new to the Danish labour market, I got help with my first job applications through ISO’s expat partner program.”

During the past four years, Jane has worked as a project coordinator for BEUMER Group, where many of her tasks were related to global mobility.

“I am really happy about being a part of ISO now, where I can use both my personal and professional experience and perform very meaningful work together with a wonderful team.”
