Mentor

In some cases, getting a mentor can be a valuable tool in your job search process. In addition to discussing job search strategies and how things work within a specific field with a local professional, a mentor can also pave the way for professional networking opportunities.

International Dual Career Network (IDCN)

International Dual Career Network (IDCN) is a non-profit association of companies, NGOs and academic institutions. It is a network for and run by accompanying partners of international employees and aims to offer accompanying partners:

Support in professional integration in a new country
Access to networking events and the opportunity to network with human resources professionals, corporate representatives and likeminded accompanying partners
Increased awareness of professional opportunities

IDCN is present in various locations across the world and is organized in local chapters with local and global corporate members. Aarhus University is a corporate member of the IDCN Jutland Funen chapter. As an accompanying partner of an Aarhus University employee, you can join the IDCN Jutland Funen chapter for free.
