You need various documents to get registered with the public authorities in Denmark. It depends on your nationality which documents and certificates you need. The below information applies for residents in Denmark and the procedures may be different in your municipality.
You must complete the online Entry Application for a CPR number online if you will be residing in Denmark and have not previously been registered (If your municipality cannot be chosen in the form, please contact the municipality directly).
Only original or authorized translations in English/German/Scandinavian languages are accepted, and certificates from some countries need to be apostille certified.
Please note: All accompanying family members including children must register in person.
Researchers (postdocs and above) can opt to be on the researcher’s tax scheme. If you are on this scheme, you do not need to register with the tax authorities. Your HR supporter at the university has done the registration for you.
You must bring the following to your appointment with SIRI to get your EU residence document:
Each individual family member must fill in their own form OD1 – incl. accompanying children.
Please note: All accompanying family members including children must register in person.
